Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions
Karen Gosselin is a seasoned music ministry professional with extensive experience in worship coordination and education. Currently serving as State Missionary and Coordinator for the Worship Resources Office at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions since September 2007, Karen assists Southern Baptist churches in Alabama with their music ministry needs and develops events to enhance worship experiences. Previous roles include Voice Instructor at Faulkner University from January 2014 to May 2020, and Interim Choral Director at Judson College during two separate terms, where responsibilities encompassed directing choirs, small ensembles, and teaching various music courses. Karen holds a Master of Music in Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Music Teacher Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions ministers in partnership with churches, associations, state convention entities and the larger Southern Baptist family by fulfilling the Great Commission through reaching and growing faithful disciples of Christ, developing Christian leaders, and mobilizing Alabama Baptists for local and global missions. The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions sees all Alabama Baptists obeying the Great Commandment by fulfilling the Great Commission. The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions is one of the three mission boards supported by Alabama Baptists' gifts through the Cooperative Program. We have One Mission - The Great Commission, One Program - The Cooperative Program and Many Ministries - Great Commission Ministries.
