Paint Rock Valley Collaborative at Alabama Cooperative Extension System

Taylor Myers is an experienced professional in agriculture, sustainability, and recruitment. Currently serving as a member of the Paint Rock Valley Collaborative within the Alabama Cooperative Extension System since February 2024, Taylor also co-founded A Common Life in June 2022, aiming to educate others on gardening through a newsletter titled "The Common." Previous roles include a technical recruiter from August 2019 to September 2023 and a sustainability coordinator at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where Taylor led the university's first campus-wide sustainability assessment. As the founder and garden farmer at RiverFly Farms from January 2014 to January 2017, Taylor oversaw all aspects of farm operations and marketing. Earlier experience includes managing The Farmstead at Scott River Lodge for a half year. Taylor holds a B.S. in Horticulture from Auburn University and an M.S. in Resilient and Sustainable Communities from Green Mountain College.
