Jennifer Allen serves as the Digital Media Director at the Alabama Department of Public Health since November 2006, overseeing the Digital Media Branch and directing the development of program websites, mobile applications, and social media initiatives. Previously, Jennifer held roles as Social Media Coordinator, Youth Tobacco Cessation Coordinator, and Public Information Specialist, contributing to youth tobacco awareness campaigns and public health communications during various emergency events. Prior experience includes co-ownership and training at CrossFit, Inc., webmastering and designing publications at Huntingdon College, and internships with the Alabama Department of Public Health and Standing Together Against Rape (STAR) Crisis and Prevention Center. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Applied Management from Troy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology - Human Services from Huntingdon College.
