Michelle Patterson

Michelle Patterson has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as the Accounting Director of Financial Operations at the Alabama Department of Public Health since January 2008. In this role, Michelle manages and directs all accounting services and business operations for the Alabama Public Health Care Authority, navigating a complex accounting environment. Prior to this position, Michelle held various roles in the Examiners of Public Accounts, including Director of Budgeting and Receipts, Assistant Financial Reporting Director, and Accounts Examiner II. Michelle's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery.
