Richard Schreiber

Richard Schreiber is an accomplished executive and educator with extensive experience in emergency communications and education. Currently serving as Executive Director at Tuscaloosa County Emergency Communications District since March 2023, Richard also contributes as an Adjunct Instructor at Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards & Education Commission, focusing on EMS educational programs. Their tenure at The University of Alabama as EMS Support further underscores their commitment to the field. Previously, Richard directed the Communications Division at NorthStar EMS for 26 years, overseeing operations and leadership. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration/EMS Management from Columbia Southern University and has completed EMT Paramedic training at Herzing University, alongside an Associate of Arts in Business from the University of Phoenix.
