Isaac Beavers

Executive Director Field Services at Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind

Isaac Beavers has a significant amount of experience in the field of services for individuals who are deaf and blind. Isaac started their career in 1997 as a Case Manager for the blind at the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, where they worked for 17 years until 2014. In 2012, they also became a Member of the State Rehabilitation Council. In 2014, they transitioned to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind as a Regional Director, a role they held until July 2022. From July 2022 onwards, they served as the Executive Director of Field Services at the same institute.

Isaac Beavers attended the Alabama School for the Blind from 1983 to 1990 and obtained a high school diploma. Isaac then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alabama between 1990 and 1995. Later on, they completed a Master of Education degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor from Auburn University from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Isaac has a certification in CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) from CRCC, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
