Richard Windham has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the Alabama Office of the Attorney General since January 2013, previously holding the position of Special Agent. Prior to this role, Richard Windham worked as a Patrolman for the Greenville Police Department from August 2012 to January 2013, where responsibilities included routine patrol and preliminary investigations. Richard Windham's earlier career includes significant roles at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, rising from Deputy Sheriff to Sergeant in both the Patrol and Criminal Investigative Divisions, supervising and guiding investigations, particularly in white-collar crime. Education credentials encompass a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Troy University and additional degrees in the same field from Troy University and the Community College of the Air Force.
