Jeff Schofield

Jeff Schofield has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries.

Starting in 1996, they worked as a Clinical Systems Support Technician at Baptist Health System before moving on to Synovus Mortgage in 1997, where they served as a Network Administrator. In this role, they installed, configured, and maintained network systems, provided hardware and software support, and communicated with vendors for system maintenance.

In 2000, Jeff joined BioCryst Pharmaceuticals as a Network Administrator, where they were responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Windows Network. Jeff also coordinated with vendors for timely system installation and testing.

In 2002, they joined AmSouth Bank as a Server Analyst, managing and optimizing 400 servers and providing level three support to 10,000 bank employees. Jeff also ensured documentation for the servers was up to date.

From 2004 to 2006, Jeff worked at Wycliffe Bible Translators. Here, they served as a Network Administrator, managing LAN/WAN, email, and database support professionals and overseeing daily support for network and server hardware/software.

In 2006, Jeff joined Campus Outreach as the Director of Information Technology, and later became the Director of the Global Resource Center. Jeff'sresponsibilities included overseeing IT services for international staff, managing resource centers in different countries, and directing and managing human and other resources for the church.

In 2020, they moved on to AWPA - American Wood Protection Association, where they worked as the Membership and Publications Manager. Jeff provided leadership in membership management and publications and held this position until 2023.

Currently, Jeff is the Corporate Accounting Manager at Alabama Outdoors, where they joined in 2023.

Throughout their career, Jeff has gained experience in areas such as IT management, project management, financial compliance, volunteer management, and resource and operations management.

Jeff Schofield attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. In 1997, they became a Certified Network Engineer through Novell. In September 2018, they obtained a Foundations of Biblical Counselling Certificate from Biblical Counselling UK.
