Chenille M Chambers currently serves as the OMI Regional Coordinator for the Alabama State Department of Education since November 2022. Previously, Chenille worked as an educator at Pike Road Schools from August 2018 to December 2022, emphasizing the importance of engaging and motivating students in their learning experiences. Prior roles include Instructional Math Coach and IB Primary Years Programme Teacher at GEMS Education and a 2nd Grade Cross-Curricular Instructor at Wesgreen International School. Additional experience encompasses teaching language arts at Montgomery Public Schools, providing personalized instruction at Sylvan Learning Centers, and serving as a lead sales representative at Lane Bryant. Chenille's academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of West Alabama and two additional Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education from Alabama State University and Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, respectively.
