Jason Mann

Jason Mann is an experienced accounting professional with a significant background in financial oversight and compliance. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant at the Alabama Department of Education since July 2011, Jason is responsible for managing school system budgets, financial statements, and Indirect Cost Proposals. Previously, Jason worked as a Staff Accountant for the Southern Poverty Law Center and Jackson Thornton, where responsibilities included monthly reconciliations, tax filings, auditing, and maintaining client financial records. Jason began a career as a Professional Athlete with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club before transitioning to accounting. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from LSU Shreveport and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Troy University.
