Tanitra Williams

Tanitra Williams, MSW, currently serves as an Elementary School Teacher for the Alabama State Department of Education since June 2021, following a similar role within the MIDFIELD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT and Tuscaloosa City Schools. Tanitra's background includes extensive social work experience, starting as a Senior Social Worker with the Department of Human Resources, followed by various positions that involved direct support and crisis intervention in child protective services and social service planning. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Education from The University of West Alabama and a Master's and Bachelor's in Social Work from The University of Alabama.
