Doug Blackmon

Doug Blackmon is an IT Technology Specialist located in Eufaula, where he works to support ATN and their internal network infrastructure.

In 15 years with ATN, Blackmon has leveraged his 38 years of experience by designing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions. Blackmon also assisted with the State Park system to design a fiber and wireless network system, allowing the park system to migrate to a more efficient software system and give guest WIFI internet in some of the most remote places in Alabama.

Prior to joining ATN, Doug Blackmon was the Electrical Systems Engineer for Aero Products and responsible for the design of emergency vehicle electrical systems. While there, he managed to change the way the company designed and manufactured emergency vehicles in several areas, allowing the company to enhance the reliability of key electrical systems and save substantially on manufacturing costs.
