Mike Pierce

Mike Pierce, Project Engineer - Leadership & Management Development located in Cullman, is a proven leader with experience in program management, business development, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and more.

Mike has more than 35 years of operational leadership, strategic and operational planning, mergers and acquisitions, program/project management, engineering, quality assurance supply chain, maintenance, and facilities across diverse industries including the aerospace market segment. His primary focus at ATN is operational improvements, quality audits, business management system implementation to standards like ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 17025, and others. He also offers cross-functional leadership training, Kaizen facilitation, and other manufacturing/quality-related training.

Before coming aboard ATN, Pierce served as the Senior Program Manager/Operations for General Dynamics Global Imaging Technologies where he led implementation team for the sites first fully integrated optical assembly; the LN-120 GPS Astro-tracker, shipping to performance requirements on time and to budget, producing $5M in annual sales. Accountability included all aspects of the product's life cycle from first sales contact to the proposal, negotiation, contractual agreement, SOW, design, manufacture, quality, cost, and delivery.

Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Technical Business from Athens State University. In addition, he received his associate degree in Engineering from Wallace State Community College.
