Tim Gates

Tim Gates is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project engineering, training management, and supervisory roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Alabama Technology Network since June 2014, Tim focuses on lean and quality management. Prior to this role, Tim worked as a Production Supervisor at Neptune Technology Group, overseeing 32 employees in manufacturing and foundry operations. Tim's career also includes significant training management positions at Delta Air Lines and the Alabama Air National Guard, where responsibilities included curriculum development, team management, and skills improvement. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management from Saint Leo University, and an Associate's degree in Avionics Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
