Founded in 1987, Alabama Waldorf School is located in the Crestwood Neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. We serve families with children 18 months to Grade 8. The Alabama Waldorf School has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1985. What began as a humble initiative to offer an alternative education rooted in the Waldorf Educational philosophy has blossomed into a vibrant community of learners, educators, and families dedicated to nurturing holistic development and fostering a lifelong love for learning. The Alabama Waldorf School nurtures students’ intellectual, artistic, and personal growth. Our dedication to preparing students not only for academic success but also for a lifelong journey of engaging with the world with compassion and understanding.
