Marlin Day

Marlin Day has extensive experience in library management and volunteer service, currently serving as Library Manager for Alachua County Library District since November 2012 and as Secretary for the Newberry Area Chamber of Commerce since January 2017. Previously, Marlin held the position of Senior Librarian and Branch Manager at Jacksonville Public Library from December 2002 to November 2012. Earlier career experience includes a role as Team Leader at Sam's Club from April 1992 to May 2002. Marlin holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Florida.
