Scott Winzeler has a substantial background in leadership and management across various sectors. As the Executive Director of Alachua Habitat for Humanity from July 2023 and previously serving as Chief Outreach and Development Officer and Executive Director from July 2010 to July 2023, Scott played a pivotal role in outreach and development efforts. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Assistant Manager for Administration at the U.S. Census Bureau, overseeing administrative operations in Gainesville, FL. Additionally, as National Facilities Manager at Sage Software Healthcare, Inc., Scott managed significant tenant improvements. Scott's career began at SYDA Foundation, where Scott developed the Finance Department and managed a team, laying a strong foundation in financial oversight. Scott holds a degree from Bradley University, obtained between 1971 and 1975.

Alachua Habitat for Humanity
Founded in 1986, Alachua Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization with our own 501(c)3 designation. We are the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Although we work in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, Alachua Habitat for Humanity is an independent organization led by a local board of directors to coordinate all aspects of our work, including fundraising and program oversight. Our service area is Alachua County, which includes the cities of Alachua, Archer, Gainesville, Hawthorne, High Springs, Micanopy, Waldo, and all rural areas within the County limits.
