Walid Tarabih has a diverse work experience in various positions and companies. Walid is currently the Founder and CEO of PlatX since July 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Draper-Aladdin Government Relations and Technology Advisor at AladdinB2B starting in February 2020. Walid also held the position of Head of 01Edu Middle East at 01Edu from October 2020.

In the past, Tarabih worked at the Prime Minister's Office in the UAE. Walid held multiple roles including Advisor from January 2017 to February 2020, Senior Manager from January 2016 to January 2017, Enterprise Architecture Manager from January 2014 to January 2016, and Senior Systems Architect from September 2009 to December 2014. In these positions, they handled various projects on the federal level, ensuring the completion of systems based on best practices in areas such as hardware infrastructure, security, data security, networking, and application level aspects.

Before joining the Prime Minister's Office, Tarabih worked as a Solutions Architect at Thuraya from February 2008 to September 2009. In this role, they developed and enhanced customer care systems, integrated CRM with backend systems, and participated in business process automation processes.

Prior to Thuraya, Tarabih worked as a Field Application Engineer at Converged Communications FZ-LLC from December 2005 to February 2008. In this capacity, they worked on projects related to IVR solutions, call and contact centers, fax servers, and CRM, with a focus on phone banking, telecom, and systems integration.

Walid Tarabih completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Damascus University from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, they also obtained a CCNA certification in Cisco Networking from New Horizons. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued professional studies in Windows and SQL Server at Microsoft.
