Alamance County Government
Mark Quale, MD, MHA, CPE, is an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician at Cone Health, providing care in a high-traffic emergency room that serves approximately 70,000 patients annually. In addition to clinical duties, Mark serves as Medical Director of CareLink Critical Care Transport, enhancing service capabilities in critical care and innovations in patient management. As Chairman of the CareLink Quality Management Committee and EMS Medical Director for Alamance County Government, Mark oversees quality management and clinical initiatives for a population of 165,000. As a Healthcare Quality Consultant, Mark collaborates with health systems to improve patient care metrics. Mark is also the EMS Education Medical Director at Alamance Community College and holds extensive educational credentials, including an MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School and an MHA from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
