Sherry Hook has extensive experience in government administration, currently serving as Deputy County Manager for Alamance County Government since September 2008. In this role, Sherry collaborates with the County Manager on administrative functions, providing critical information and guidance to department directors. Sherry has also held the position of Interim County Manager, overseeing daily operations, implementing policies, and managing all county departments. Prior roles include Assistant County Manager and Human Resources Director, where Sherry handled budget development and managed HR functions for approximately 1,000 employees across 24 departments. Sherry's earlier career includes serving as HR Director at The Education Center from August 1994 to September 2008. Sherry earned a Bachelor of Science in Textile Management with a focus on Law and Labor Relations from North Carolina State University.
