Barry Lynch

Barry Lynch has extensive work experience in the life sciences industry, spanning over multiple roles and companies. Barry is currently serving as the Director of Business Development (EMEA) at Alamar Biosciences, Inc., where they are involved in precision proteomics and the early detection of diseases.

Prior to their current role, Barry worked at 10x Genomics as a Business Development professional specializing in spatial research. Barry joined the company in January 2022 and concluded their tenure in September 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Barry held various positions at Ultivue. Barry started as the Commercial Director (EMEA) in December 2018 and became the Vice President of Global Sales in September 2020, a position they held until December 2021.

Before Ultivue, Barry worked at Advanced Cell Diagnostics from 2013 to 2018, where they served as the Commercial Director (EMEA) for five years.

Prior to that, they worked at REINNERVATE LIMITED as the Global Director of Marketing and Business Development from 2011 to 2013. Barry also held the position of Business Development Manager (EMEA) at Oxford Immunotec from 2010 to 2011.

Barry's career started at Life Technologies in 2006, where they served as the Marketing Manager (APAC) until 2009.

Before joining Life Technologies, they worked at Invitrogen from 1998 to 2005, where they held several roles, including Marketing Manager (EMEA), Business Unit Manager (EMEA), Sales Specialist (EMEA), Sales Manager (UK), and Sales Representative (North UK).

Barry began their career in 1997 at Merck Life Science as a Sales Representative (North UK) and served until 1998.

Barry Lynch completed their undergraduate education at the University of Dundee from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biochemistry. Barry then pursued their postgraduate studies at Abertay University from 1996 to 1997, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology.
