Chen-Jung (Jason) Lee

Chen-Jung (Jason) Lee has a strong background in biosciences and research. Chen-Jung (Jason) is currently working at Alamar Biosciences, Inc. as a Senior Scientist, a position they began in September 2021. Prior to that, they held roles at LakePharma, Inc., where they were a Scientist II from March 2020 to September 2021 and a Scientist I from February 2019 to February 2020.

Lee also has experience as a Researcher at The University of Akron, where they worked from June 2012 to May 2018. During their time there, they assisted with designing a novel organic conductive polymer with controllable anti-fouling and antimicrobial properties for a patent. Chen-Jung (Jason) also conducted various research projects, including studying structure-function relationships of tertiary amine-based polycarboxybetaine, investigating ionic conductivity of polyelectrolyte hydrogels, and designing and synthesizing organic electrically conducting polymers with antifouling and antimicrobial properties. Chen-Jung (Jason) has experience maintaining lab notebooks, preparing data for presentations, writing technical reports, and submitting manuscripts for publication.

Chen-Jung (Jason) Lee completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering from Tamkang University during the period from 2005 to 2010. Chen-Jung (Jason) then pursued further studies and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron, which they completed between 2012 and 2018.
