Angela Ruggiero

Angela Ruggiero is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Alameda County Office of Education since May 2023. Previously, Ruggiero worked as a Public Information Officer for the Alameda County District Attorney's Office from May 2021 to May 2023. Ruggiero has extensive experience in journalism, having reported for the Bay Area News Group from January 2016 to April 2021, focusing on the Alameda County Superior Court, as well as for The Palo Alto Daily Post and Morgan Hill Times. Ruggiero began a career in media as an Editorial Intern at VIA magazine and held the position of Features Editor at The California Aggie newspaper. Ruggiero holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Italian from the University of California, Davis.
