Jerarde Gutierrez serves as the Arts Program Coordinator and Visual Arts Instructor at the Alameda County Office of Education since July 2016, where responsibilities include co-managing Integrated Arts Learning spaces. Gutierrez has also coordinated in-school and after-school programming at two Bay Area high schools through LunchBox International, contributing to media arts instruction. As a freelance illustrator and graphic artist at Jerarde Studio since 2005, Gutierrez provides design services. Additionally, involvement with The Richmond Art Center includes project management of the Neighborhood Public Art Project and various volunteer roles. Previous positions have encompassed a Vice President role on the board of the Alameda County Arts Commission, as well as teaching and support roles at Galileo Learning and RAM Print & Communications. Jerarde Gutierrez holds a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
