Kristin Bijur has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education. Kristin started their career in 2002 with the San Francisco Unified School District as a Head Teacher and School Leader, a position they held until 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at UC Berkeley as a Field Supervisor and Leadership Coach. In 2012, Kristin joined Buena Vista Horace Mann as the Director of Learning and Instruction. Kristin then returned to the San Francisco Unified School District in 2013 and held various roles, including Director of Principal Support, Executive Director of Leadership Development, and Chief Human Resources Officer. In 2023, they became the Chief of Educator Effectiveness at the Alameda County Office of Education.
Kristin Bijur completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Spanish at Middlebury College from 1990 to 1994.
