Renata Leal

Renata Leal currently serves as a Senior Career Advisor for the Green Careers Guidance Initiative at the Alameda County Office of Education, focusing on guiding high school seniors toward skilled trades in the green economy and facilitating connections to apprenticeship programs. Renata has held various roles, including Education Pioneer Impact Fellow, where responsibilities included charter school oversight and LCAP course development. As an External Consultant for the Ministry of Education in Brazil, Renata supports strategic programs in Career and Technical Education. With a background as a co-founder at Skillify and Youth Voices Brazil and positions at Itaú Educação e Trabalho and Cogna Educação, expertise encompasses labor market analysis, educational alignment to market demands, and youth engagement in policy discussions. Renata holds a Master's degree in International Comparative Education from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from FGV.
