Romany Corella

Romany Corella is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Program Manager at the Alameda County Office of Education since July 2023 and as an Assistant Principal at San Lorenzo Unified School District since August 2022. Previously, Romany worked at San Lorenzo Unified School District as an Alternative Education Teacher from August 2016 to June 2022 and at San Leandro Adult School as an Adult Basic Education Teacher from March 2016 to March 2019. Romany began the career at Oakland Unified School District, holding positions as a Specialist and Teacher from August 2008 to July 2016, creating positive learning environments and implementing culturally relevant curricula for students in grades 9-12. Romany holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University - East Bay, a Credential in Secondary Education and Teaching from Chapman University, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
