Sara Haro

Sara Haro is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at the Alameda County Office of Education since July 2021. Previously, Sara taught English and ELD to middle school students at the Alum Rock Union School District from August 2019 to June 2021 and worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at the Alameda County Office of Education from October 2016 to July 2019, focusing on independent study programs. Additional experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher, Literacy Tutor, and Instructor for Career Development and Training across various educational settings. Sara holds a Teaching Credential in Multiple Subjects from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
