Carlos Sempere

Carlos Sempere is an experienced engineer with a focus on structural design and analysis, particularly related to seismic performance. Since December 2017, Carlos has been working at Alameda County Water District. Prior to this role, Carlos worked at Forell/Elsesser Engineers for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included structural design for both new constructions and retrofits, earthquake damage assessments, and seismic certification of equipment. Earlier in their career, Carlos served as a Cost Engineer at Blach Construction Company, providing cost estimating and preconstruction services. Carlos holds both a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
