Kiran Kaur

Kiran Kaur is an experienced Water Use Efficiency Specialist currently working at the Alameda County Water District since November 2022. Previously, Kiran served as a Water Conservation Assistant at the Long Beach Water Department and as a Dirtrider at IVCSD's Isla Vista Compost Collective, where assistance was provided in compost services and community education on food security. Kiran's professional background also includes roles such as Team Liaison at UCSB Arts & Lectures, Environmental Educator at Your Children's Trees at UCSB, and various positions in community engagement and sales. Kiran holds a Bachelor's degree in Hydrologic Sciences and Public Policy from UC Santa Barbara and a high school diploma with a focus on STEM from Van Nuys Senior High School.
