Rangarajan Sampath, P.E. has over 25 years of experience in water resources and environmental engineering. Currently serving as Associate Engineer for Water Production and Senior Environmental Engineer at Alameda County Water District since 2003, Rangarajan focuses on brackish water desalination projects and water quality compliance. Previous roles include Senior Groundwater Resources Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed technical oversight of groundwater remediation projects and inter-agency coordination. Rangarajan has a strong background in project management and system design, having developed long-term IT strategies and supported the Aquifer Reclamation Program for brackish water sources. Education includes multiple degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, and Computer Information Systems from notable institutions such as Utah State University and Louisiana State University.
