Rekha Ippagunta P.e

Rekha Ippagunta, P.E., currently serves as the Project Engineering Division Manager at Alameda County Water District, where responsibilities include overseeing the Capital Improvement Program, mentoring staff, reviewing designs and permit applications, and participating in grant selection for capital projects. Previously, Rekha held positions at California Water Service Company, advancing from Project Engineer to Capital Planning Manager, overseeing capital planning for 24 districts, and managing notable projects related to water treatment and compliance. Additional experience includes civil/environmental engineering at DSWA, research with EBMUD on disinfection methods, and teaching civil engineering subjects at a technical education department. Educational qualifications include an M.S. in Environmental Engineering and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, along with completion of the Women's Executive Leadership Program at Yale School of Management.
