Teresa Yang Lam

Teresa Yang Lam is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in community engagement, public health, and policy advocacy. Currently serving as a SPARC Advisory Committee Member at APPEAL, Teresa provides guidance on tobacco control initiatives for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. As a Management Associate and Information and Guidance Content Specialist at Alameda County, Teresa contributed to COVID-19 response efforts and engaged the community in tobacco policy advocacy. Previous roles include a Revenue Operations Specialist at Udemy, a Financial Aid Information Systems Assistant at the University of California, Davis, and a Policy Intern at the American Lung Association, where Teresa developed tools to track tobacco policies. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a minor in American History from the University of California, Davis, along with an Associate of Arts from Diablo Valley College.
