Akemi Otsuka Renn

Akemi Otsuka Renn has extensive work experience in healthcare compliance. Akemi started their career as a Compliance Officer at Pacific Alliance Medical Center in 2001, where they ensured compliance with various governmental and hospital guidelines. Akemi then worked as a Compliance Manager at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation from 2005 to 2012, where they managed compliance audits and coordinated quality improvement procedures. In 2013, they joined Spectraforce as a Senior Compliance Consultant, where they provided support in corrective action plans and conducted risk assessments to mitigate non-compliance. Currently, Akemi is the Director of System Compliance at Alameda Health System since 2014. In this role, they manage the corporate compliance program for multiple hospital campuses and ambulatory care centers, collaborates on annual work plans for compliance audits and training programs, and ensures compliance with governmental and health system guidelines.
