Ellen Kupper

Ellen Kupper has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Ellen began their career as a Senior Accountant at the Superior Court of CA, County of San Mateo in 1997 and continued working there until 2000. Ellen then joined Marin General Hospital as an Accountant in the Treasury & Capital department, where they worked until 2011.

In 2011, Ellen transitioned to Sutter Health and took on various roles as an EHR Applications Analyst and EHR Application Analyst III, specializing in Hospital Billing and OpTime. Ellen worked in these positions until 2017 when they moved into the role of Bay Area Acute Care EHR Revenue Cycle Applications Manager - Site Support, managing applications related to Cadence, ADT, HIM, and HB.

After leaving Sutter Health in 2017, Ellen joined Sutter Health Information Systems as an Enterprise Revenue Cycle Application Manager. In this position, they led teams and successfully implemented various projects including Epic facility organization builds, enterprise-wide PCI projects, and the development of Epic Capacity Dashboards and Patient Estimators.

In 2019, Ellen returned to Sutter Health as an Enterprise Revenue Cycle Application Manager, taking on responsibilities related to Resolute HB/CDM and ADT/Grand Central/FacOrg. Ellen led their teams through organizational restructures and implemented processes for disaster response and optimization of integrated build processes.

Most recently, Ellen joined Alameda Health System in 2022 as an EHR Implementation Manager / Revenue Cycle. The details of their responsibilities in this role are not provided.

Ellen Kupper obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Pacific Union College during the years 1981 to 1986. In addition, they have received certification in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing from Epic, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
