Rekha George

Rekha George has extensive experience in women's health. Rekha worked as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Alameda Health System from 2014, where they focused on reproductive and gynecologic health. In 2015, they joined Women's Center St Rose Hospital, providing prenatal and postpartum care to obstetrical patients in a private practice setting. At Indiana University Health, they worked as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from 2009 to 2013, and prior to that, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery from 2008 to 2010. Rekha began their career at St.Vincent Health as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery from 2003 to 2007.

Rekha George has a diverse education history in the field of nursing. Rekha began their education in 1992 at the College of Nursing, St. Martha's Hospital, where they completed a Diploma Course in General Nursing and Midwifery. From 1997 to 1999, Rekha pursued further studies at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, earning a Post Certificate B.S in Nursing.

Continuing their education, Rekha attended the Manipal Academy of Higher Education once again from 1999 to 2001, completing an MS in Nursing with a specialization in Maternity Nursing. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Post Masters degree in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rekha George holds certifications as an RN (Registered Nurse) and NP (Nurse Practitioner) from the State Board of Nursing and the National Certification Corporation (NCC). The specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
