Lyndsey Schlax

Lyndsey Schlax is an experienced educator who has worked in various roles in the field of education, including as an 8th grade CORE teacher at Alameda Unified School District, Co-Founder & Director at Teachers Take Action, and a History Teacher at Berkeley Unified School District. With a strong background in teaching, curriculum development, and leadership, Lyndsey is dedicated to promoting culturally sustaining pedagogy, youth civic engagement, and critical thinking in their work with students and teachers. Lyndsey holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a MA in Teaching from the University of San Francisco.
