Maggie Adams is a versatile educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in digital media and film production. Currently working as a Digital Film and Radio Pathway instructor at Alameda Unified School District, Maggie has previously taught Media Arts at Mission High School and computer science at Raoul Wallenberg High School. As a small business owner at Magpie & Thorn, Maggie curates unusual plants and gifts. In independent film, Maggie operates Decomp Films and has collaborated with the Alameda County Arts Commission on documentary projects, including "Catalyst for Change." Additionally, Maggie has held various teaching positions and leadership roles at California College of the Arts and has engaged with students through programs focused on media production and social justice. Maggie holds both a BFA and an MFA in Media Arts from California College of the Arts and an AA in Photography and Film Studies from Cabrillo College.
