Gloria Givilancz

Gloria Givilancz has extensive professional experience in contract management, grant coordination, and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Contract and Nutrition Coordinator at the Alamo Area Council of Governments since June 2018, Givilancz previously held positions as a Contract and Compliance Manager at DataLogic Software Inc. and as a Grants Coordinator and Assistant Finance Director for the City of Weslaco. Key accomplishments include successfully obtaining a grant for an ADA compliance sidewalk project and coordinating multiple grant-related efforts across various departments. Givilancz also has a background as an Owner/Agent at Farmers Insurance and as a Financial Advisor with Givilancz Financial Group, in addition to serving as an Internal Revenue Agent for the IRS, where notable achievements included being the first female Revenue Agent to conduct audits of this type in South Texas. Givilancz holds a degree from the University of Texas Pan American.
