Alamo Area Council of Governments
Julio Elizondo has a strong background in finance and accounting. Julio began their career at Schlemmer USA Inc as an Accountant/Cost Analyst in February 2015 and later took on the role of Accounting Manager in November 2015. In 2017, Julio joined the Alamo Area Council of Governments as a Budget Officer. Julio then progressed to the position of Director of Accounting in January 2022 and is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer since May 2023.
Julio Elizondo attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. Julio later pursued further education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance, with a focus on General Finance, from 2020 to 2023.
