Paul Kailiponi

Paul Kailiponi, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Analytics and Reporting at Alamo Colleges District, having previously held positions within the institution as Associate Director and Assistant Director for Institutional Research and Effectiveness Services. Additionally, Paul is a Strategic Data Project Fellow at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University and an Institutional Researcher at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i, where responsibilities include managing a team of professionals and developing statistical models to enhance student success. Past experience includes roles such as Senior Disaster Risk Analyst at Pacific Disaster Center, Assistant Professor in Disaster Management at the University of Manchester, and GIS Analyst at the University of Pittsburgh, demonstrating a strong background in research and analysis related to disaster management and institutional effectiveness. Paul holds a PhD in Operations Research from Aston University and has degrees in Development Economics and International Relations from the University of Pittsburgh and Brigham Young University, respectively.
