Sarang Shital Shirguppi

Sarang Shital Shirguppi is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at Bomford Turner Ltd since March 2023, specializing in the design and development of agricultural equipment using SolidWorks and DB Works PLM, while adhering to various EU, ISO, and BSI standards. Previous experience includes roles as Event Staff at GIG and as a Design Engineer at Dynapac, where Sarang managed core projects related to soil and asphalt compactors using CREO and Autodesk Inventor, and developed a solid understanding of PLM/PDM processes. Sarang began a professional journey as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Bosch India, which included creating a prototype Kanban System, and has also gained insights into mechanical processes through an internship at Menon and Menon Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, coupled with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
