James Thompson

James Thompson is a Senior Exploration Geologist at Alamos Gold Inc. since August 2021, bringing extensive geological expertise from previous roles including Chief Geologist at Armistice Resources Corp and Project Geologist at Acadian Mining. Their career spans over two decades in the mining and exploration field, with earlier positions as Mine Geologist at River Gold Mines, Senior Geologist at Caledonia Mining Corporation, and Senior Geologist at Royal Oak Mines. James Thompson holds a HBSc in Earth Science from the University of Guelph, earned between 1981 and 1987.
