Mitthoo Sharma

Mitthoo Sharma has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of supply chain, procurement, and logistics management. Mitthoo is currently working as the Director of Procurement at Alamos Gold Inc. Prior to this, they served as a Supply Chain Superintendent and Inventory Superintendent at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. Mitthoo also held the position of Director, Supply Chain at TMAC Resources Inc. and Head of Procurement Operations - Eastern Canada and Category Manager - Logistics at Lafarge. Mitthoo Sharma worked as a Procurement Manager at De Beers Canada Inc. and in various procurement and logistics roles at GlencoreXstrata Plc, Xstrata Zinc, Falconbridge, and Celestica. Mitthoo started their career as a Student Engineer at the Toronto District School Board.

Mitthoo Sharma received a B.A.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto in the years 2000-2005. Following that, Sharma attended The Logistics Institute from 2005-2007 and obtained a degree as a Professional Logistician. In the years 2007-2008, Sharma completed a Black Belt program at Xstrata Canada Corporation specializing in Six Sigma. Later, Sharma pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University from 2009-2012. Finally, in 2017, Sharma attended CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply for the Lafarge Holcim - Procurement Academy, focusing on Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management.
