Amy Deats

Amy Deats is an experienced professional in the photography and media industry, currently serving as a Casual Picture Desk Operative and Contributing Photographer at Alamy since November 2021. Previously, Amy held various roles at Alamy, including Assistant Picture Desk Operative (Live News) and Apprentice, where responsibilities encompassed assignment editing and sourcing images under tight deadlines. Amy's expertise also includes research and data collection, demonstrated through a role as Research Intern at Spitalfields City Farm, which focused on visitor demographics and community engagement. Additionally, as a Student Consultant at The London Interdisciplinary School, Amy contributed to building a network of youth activists for the charity Goods For Good. Currently pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods at The London Interdisciplinary School, Amy also holds an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Photo Imaging and multiple GCSEs and A Levels from Newlands Girls' School.
