Laurent Guérin

Laurent Guérin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of insurance, finance, and public policy. Currently serving as the Insurance Lead and Chief Risk Officer at Alan since June 2020, Laurent is dedicated to transforming healthcare into a more human-centric experience. Prior to this role, Laurent held various positions at the Direction générale du Trésor, including Head of Unit for Regulated Savings and Housing Financing, and Head of Unit for Insurance Products and Markets, where significant reforms were implemented. Additionally, Laurent has experience as an executive assistant to the Prime Minister regarding corporate finance improvements in Europe, and has been involved in the creation and supervision of Bpifrance. Laurent's educational background includes a Diplome d'Ingénieur from École Polytechnique, a Master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Public Policy degree from Corps des Mines.
