Andrin Schett

Andrin Schett has a strong background in the finance industry, with a focus on investment banking and mergers & acquisitions. Andrin currently holds the position of Investment Banking Vice President at Alantra since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UBS from 2017 to 2021, where they held roles as an Investment Banking Associate in both Equity Capital Markets and Mid-Market Advisory. Andrin also gained experience as a Consultant in Mergers & Acquisitions at EY from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Andrin Schett had early career experience as a Trainee in Corporate Finance and M&A at Leonardo & Co. in 2013, and as an Intern in Private Equity Fund-of-Funds at AXA Private Equity Switzerland in 2012.

Andrin Schett completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen in 2012. In 2011, they also studied as a visiting student at the USC Marshall School of Business, focusing on Business Administration at the undergraduate level. Andrin then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Banking and Finance (MBF) from the University of St.Gallen, which they obtained in 2015. During their master's program, they spent a semester as a visiting student at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in Finance at the MBA and PhD level. In addition to their formal education, Andrin Schett has obtained two certifications from the CAIA Association: the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Level 1 exam in 2014 and the CAIA Level 2 exam in 2015.
