Jaime Cano is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private debt, real estate structured finance, and leveraged finance. Currently serving as a Partner at Alantra since October 2017, Jaime manages private debt funds, overseeing investments of over €700 million in Europe. Previously, as Managing Director at Société Générale from 2015 to 2017, Jaime led the Real Estate Structured Finance division in Iberia and successfully originated over 50 transactions in the Spanish commercial real estate market. With a background at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking from 2001 to 2015, Jaime held positions as Director of Leveraged Finance and Manager in Corporate Finance, contributing to numerous high-stakes transactions across various sectors. Jaime began the career at Citigroup as an Analyst, focusing on financial analysis and credit assessments. Jaime holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and CUNEF.
