Laro Escalada, CFA, has extensive experience in investment analysis, currently serving as a Senior Investment Analyst for the EQMC Fund at Alantra since July 2016, where a focus on European small and mid-cap companies has resulted in a 15% IRR over 10 years and recognition with a Top Global Fund award in Barron’s Penta ranking. Prior roles include Investment Analyst positions at GO Investment Partners and Redwheel, as well as a Research Associate role at UBS Investment Bank, where Laro began as a Research Intern. Additional experience includes volunteering with Grameen Foundation. Laro's educational background encompasses studies at UWC-USA, University of St. Gallen, University of Warwick, and Università Bocconi.
