Pierre-Alain Rikkers

Pierre-Alain Rikkers has extensive experience in the FinTech industry. Pierre-Alain is currently working as a Partner/Managing Director and the Head of FinTech at Alantra since 2024. Prior to this, they held positions as a Managing Partner at Fin Tech Strategic Advisors, LLC from 2013 onwards and as a Senior Managing Director and the Head of FinTech at Teneo from 2016 to 2023. Pierre-Alain has also worked as a Managing Director and the Head of FinTech at Arma Partners from 2014 to 2016, as a Senior Vice President in FinTech at Moelis & Company from 2011 to 2014, and as a Director in FinTech at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, they served as an Associate in the Corporate M&A division at Linklaters from 1998 to 2002.

Pierre-Alain Rikkers completed their education with the following degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Corporate Development from The Wharton School in 2004, a Master's Degree in International Studies from The Lauder Institute - University of Pennsylvania in 2004, and a Research Scholar program in Corporate & Financial Law from The University of Tokyo - Graduate School of Law & Politics from 1996 to 1998. Pierre-Alain also obtained an LL.M. in business law (Licence spéciale en droit économique) from Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium - Faculte de Droit (Law School) in 1996 and an LL.B. (Licence en droit) from the same institution in 1995. Pierre-Alain Rikkers also holds certifications in Series 7, 63, and 24 from FINRA.
